The Grim Details of Nicki Minaj’s Boyfriend’s Sexual Assault Case Have Surfaced

Weeks ago, Nicki Minaj appeared on social media with a brand new mystery man that had her fans and the general public wondering if this was a new love interest of hers. Last weekend, Minaj celebrated her birthday with close friends, family, and anonymous male counterpart and revealed via social media that this man who has since then been identified as Kenny Petty as her latest love interest.
Unfortunately, for the privacy of Minaj’s and Petty’s new and budding relationship, it was discovered that Petty not only served prison time for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in 1994, he also went to prison on manslaughter charges in the shooting death of a young man named Lamont Robinson a decade later. Now, with the general public is aware of Kenneth Petty’s dark past, further details of Petty’s sexual assault case and trial have surfaced courtesy of The Blast.
Kenneth Petty’s Sexual Assault/Rape Case: The Dark Details

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the unidentified 16-year-old young woman detailed her terrifying experience in which she described allegedly being abducted and forcibly raped by a young Kenneth Petty.
In her statement, the victim affirmed that she was walking down a public street on September 16, 1994, in Queens, New York when she was approached from behind by Petty who placed ‘a hard circular object’ against her back as the unknown object made a clicking sound. The young woman assumed that Petty was in possession of a firearm and stated that Petty told her to ‘keep walking.’
Fearing for life, the victim followed Petty’s demands and walked to a nearby residence where the two entered. Once Petty and the teenage girl were in an enclosed room, the victim claimed that ‘[Petty] laid his weight on top of her, pinched her sides. and squeezed her neck causing her to sustain bruises and pain.’ The young woman then stated that Petty forced his genitals inside into her vagina.
According to the statement, the young woman attempted to escape from her attacker until he brandished a knife and held it to her stomach stating, ‘she could not leave.’ Fortunately, the victim was able to escape after she struck Petty with a plastic bottle and fled to safety.
The unknown victim reported her assault to the authorities almost instantaneously and police arrived to Petty’s residence where he asked law enforcement officials ‘what am I being arrested for?’ and claiming ‘I didn’t do anything.’ When asked about the young woman who claimed she was sexually assaulted by Petty, he stated that he had not seen her that day but had previously recognized her at the bus stop before, conversed with her, and even slept with her in the prior to her accusations.
Kenny Petty’s Sexual Assault Charges & Consequences
According to records obtained by The Blast, Kenneth Petty was charged with a total of five crimes. The following crimes include rape in the first degree, sexual abuse in the first degree, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, assault in the second degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
Petty eventually took a plea deal and was convicted of rape in the first degree and served a total of four years in a New York state prison. Kenny Petty is currently a registered sex offender and required to provide law enforcement with updated location information as well as photos for public safety.
Nicki Minaj Continues to Flaunt Her New Man in Kenny Petty

As you can see, it doesn’t appear to bother Nicki that her new boyfriend’s heinous criminal record has become public knowledge. Matter of fact, Minaj has been publicly defending Petty’s past stating that he was young and dumb at the time of this alleged assault.
With that said, if Nicki Minaj is happy and Petty has served his time for his actions and is completely rehabilitated, who are we to judge as spectators of another couple’s love? We just hope, Minaj doesn’t find herself in danger due to someone else’s actions.

‘Platano Man’ AKA Juan Ayala: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Juan Ayala is a mild-mannered Dominican-American New Yorker on his way to work on a jam-packed morning rush hour D train. Suddenly, a petite white woman begins a violent, vile, vicious racist attack on an unsuspecting, unassuming young Asian woman.
Like the apparent true reporter he is, Ayala begins to document the scene with his camera phone. But after the attack becomes more than he can abide, Ayala morphs into Platano Man who springs into action, takes the assailant down and makes a citizen’s arrest of the glaringly deranged attacker: a dyed-blond 40-year-old lawyer from Brooklyn with a Russian accent.
Days later, Platano Man is not just a Twitter handle, but a real-life superhero. The kind of superhero you’d only find in Nueva York.
Here is his story:

1. It’s Tuesday & Juan Ayala Joins Thousands of Strap-Hangers on the Morning Rush Hour Train Headed For Manhattan From Sunset Park in Brooklyn. Little Does he Know He’ll Soon be the Subway Superhero

He's the hero the city deserves.
An early look at Friday's front cover…
— New York Daily News (@NYDailyNews) December 14, 2018

This is the happy ending of the story. Juan Ayala on the cover of the New York Daily News.
“This is a Job for ‘Platano Man;’ Subway Superhero Collars Hate-Spewing Straphanger”
Ayala is stunned.
“Oh My God 😭🙏🏾 Everybody go pick up the @nydailynews today!”

Oh My God 😭🙏🏾 Everybody go pick up the @nydailynews today!

The illustration of ‘Platano Man’ is a stroke of comedic genius, while paying huge homage to the Dominican from Brooklyn just living his life and trying to do the right thing. The image is of the caped Subway Superhero, with his platano signal shining over the New York skyline.

“Thank you, New York. You ridiculous cesspool. 😂😂😂”
Let’s rewind.

2. It’s 7:50 a.m. Aboard a Packed Subway Car. White Woman Anna Lushchinskaya Begins a Violent, Racist Tirade & Assault on a Young Asian Woman

So this happened yesterday #mta #36st #nyc
— PL∆T∆NO M∆N™ (@PlatanoMan) December 12, 2018

The subway is packed on the morning commute Tuesday in Sunset Park, Brooklyn heading into Manhattan. Inexplicably, Anna Lushchinskaya launches a deranged and violent racist attack young Asian woman Michelle Tung.
Ayala, bundled up for the weather, is on that train standing just feet from Lushchinskaya. He begins to record her attack.
The video of the nearly 5-minute long assault witnessed by scores of subway riders, begins when Lushchinskaya screams, ‘Fu*k off,” a number of times, and then, strikes Tung with her umbrella and heavy keys. For no reason. Then, Lushchinskaya repeatedly kicks Tung who was simply standing on the train. Tung then tries to defend herself and stop Lushchinskaya from kicking her. That’s when others intervene. Lushchinskaya, with a Russian accent, screams that the man who has stepped in her way is preventing her from hitting Tung and then Lushchinskaya lunges at Tung, who now begins to fight back. All the while, the dyed-blond Lushchinskaya, carrying a Louis Vuitton bag, kicks, strikes, and screams. People in the train are begging her to stop the attack. She then uses the metal part of her umbrella and again, strikes Tung, who is still trying to defend herself. People in the subway car are pleading for Lushchinskaya to stop.
Ayala is recording.

2. Ayala Goes From Recording the Assault to Intervening; Platano Man Subdues the Assailant & Makes a Citizen’s Arrest
— PL∆T∆NO M∆N™ (@PlatanoMan) December 12, 2018

In the very beginning of the recording, Ayala, who goes by PlatanoMan on Twitter and Facebook, cuts to himself to provide some comic relief, but soon the incident is far from funny and he finds himself very much part of the action as opposed to just documenting it.
In the second clip, Lushchinskaya continues to fight, scream and then, attack the girl with her closed umbrella, stabbing at Tung. People are yelling, “What are you doing? Stop! What are you doing?” Then, shockingly, as she appears to be using her phone to call the police, she spits at Tung and then yells at her, “Fu*king chink.” People are stunned, screaming at her. “Get the fu*k out of here with your racist shit.”
Lushchinskaya appeared unfazed and when Ayala asks if her plan is to continue to attack people, “So you’re just going to pick fights with everybody on the train now? Is that what you’re going to do?” Her response was to spit on him. She then calls him “fucking Muhammad Atta.”
Incredulous, Ayala responds: “Bitch, I’m Dominican.”
— Fabe (@BlipintheCosmos) December 13, 2018

As he tells her the “whole world is laughing at you,” while he continues to record her, she then smacks his headphones out of his hands and then tries to smack his phone out of his hands. Ayala, fed up, shouts, “I’m not the one,” and takes her down to the floor.

Minutes later, when the train stops, Ayala has her in custody, her hands behind her back, awaiting police.

His superhero subway work is done. She is arrested and charged. See the full story about what happens with Lushchinskaya here. This story is about Juan Ayala, Platano Man.

5. Platanos aka Plantains Are a Caribbean Staple & Are Awesome Prepared as ‘Platanos Maduros’ or ‘Tostones.’ But Their Significance Goes Beyond the Cucina for Caribbean Latinos

The fact is the plantain is far more than just a dietary staple. It’s representative of the West African diaspora and its cultural significance is intertwined in the cultural fabric of the West Indies and the Caribbean.

From writer Will Triak:

“When you think of culture, the first thing that pops into your mind may very well be food. The different types of food that help define a culture are an important way to unify people from the same place and provide them a means to celebrate their heritage and the things that make the similar. But often times, we don’t think of the foods that unite a lot of us. Foods that transcend borders. Food that is so delicious it cannot be confined to one group. There is one food that you should most definitely be drooling over right now.
And that food is sweet plantains.
You may know these sweet and crisp wonders as platano maduro, kelewele, or aloco. Sweet plantains, simply put, are bananas that are large and over ripened. These magic vessels of flavor can be fried, mashed, boiled, or roasted. You name it, and sweet plantains can be cooked that way. In many Caribbean countries, plantains are eaten as a staple starch. In Ghana and other West African countries, it is eaten with fish or cabbage, as well as mixed with a host of other ingredients to make eto. And in the Southern United States, you are sure to find them tossed on the grill.
It is likely that you are wondering to yourself, how do all of these different places use this same ingredient so heavily? Believe it or not, there is an actual historical reason for this. When people were kidnapped from different parts of Africa, specifically West Africa, they were taken to different places of the world such as the Caribbean and the Southern United States to be slaves. These people didn’t leave all of their cultures behind, however. Food was one of the main ways that these people in different areas of the world were connected.”…sweet plantains are more than just a food. They are a marker of one of the largest diasporas in human history. So next time you bite into your eto or your platano maduro, remember its significance.”

Matt Breida Fantasy: Latest on Injury & Week 15 Outlook for 49ers RB

The outlook for San Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida in Week 15 remains very much up in the air. But at the very least, there are some positives to take away from the latter part of the week. While Breida continues to battle an ankle injury which held him out of Week 14, he’s attempting to make a push to suit up this Sunday.
Unfortunately, as the game approaches, we won’t have a clear-cut answer almost certainly until Sunday afternoon. With that said, we’re going to take a look the latest on Breida’s injury, his status moving forward and overall outlook in the matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
More specifically, we’ll evaluate the fantasy football situation for Breida and whether or not he makes for a strong play if he is able to give it a go. If not, then his backup, Jeff Wilson Jr., who filled in last week could be an interesting option once again.

Latest on Matt Breida’s Injury
The 49ers will now give Breida another day or so to see how the recovery of his ankle goes. He was not ruled out for the game against the Seahawks, and as Rob Lowder of Niners Nation revealed, he joined a list of five players who are listed as questionable.

#49ers injury report for #SEAvsSF:Out:S Jaquiski TarttQuestionable:RB Matt BreidaWR Marquise GoodwinLB Mark NzeochaWR Dante PettisCB K’Waun Williams
— Rob Lowder (@Rob_Lowder) December 14, 2018

Along with this news, it’s worth noting that Breida did get two limited practices in to end the week. That’s a big step in the right direction and will at least give him a chance to potentially suit up.
Practicing in a limited fashion can be a tough thing to gauge, though, so if you do have Breida on fantasy rosters, it’s worth making sure to have a backup plan. And one option to cover that could be the aforementioned Wilson, who we’ll also break down.

Matt Breida’s Fantasy Matchup & Outlook
It’s safe to say that a matchup with the Seahawks wouldn’t typically be considered the most appealing from a fantasy perspective in past years, but it’s not awful this season. Although the Seahawks are still making their playoff push (which improved after a Week 14 win), they need to keep picking up victories.
On the season, Seattle has allowed 1,106 rushing yards and eight touchdowns to opposing running backs. Although that’s not a mind-blowing number, their struggles against pass-catching backs would benefit either Breida or Wilson. They’ve given up 82 receptions for 775 yards (second most in the NFL) and five receiving touchdowns to the position.
One big concern is whether Breida would be limited at all or play on a snap count if he suits up in Week 15. That makes using him in some spots risky, but there’s also an argument to be made that the 49ers wouldn’t roll him out unless his ankle was at least getting close to 100 percent.
If Breida does wind up sitting this game out, then Wilson becomes a strong play in his place. The rookie out of North Texas has totaled 28 carries for 151 yards along with nine catches for 73 yards in the past two games. Although he only hauled in one pass last game, it would make sense for that number to increase against the Seahawks in a plus matchup.

Bellator 212 Preview
In the main event, Brent Primus will finally make his first lightweight title defense–and he’ll do it against the man he took the belt from, Michael Chandler.
The first bout between these two, which took place at the stacked Bellator NYC event in June of 2017, ended in bizarre fashion. The champ suffered a brutal ankle injury early in the match, and though he was attempting to power through it, the referee stopped the fight and the doctor ruled that Chandler couldn’t go on. Thus, Primus was handed the first-round TKO victory and the lightweight belt.
Going by the odds, it was the seventh biggest upset in Bellator history, but it was also anything but a decisive win.
A rematch was always going to be needed, but it took a while to get to this point. Primus had to back out of the scheduled rematch at Bellator 197 in April due to a knee injury and thus hasn’t fought since the first win over Chandler 17 months ago. Meanwhile, Chandler, who has collected a pair of wins over Goiti Yamauchi and Brandon Girtz in that time, has made his feelings about Primus’ inactivity very clear.
“(The) track record speaks for itself — he’s only fought eight times in eight years,” Chandler said. “He doesn’t really fight much. He’s a part-time fighter. He’s a glorified part-time fighter.”
All signs point to Chandler unleashing his fury and winning back his belt on Friday night, but with all the history, it’s tough to know what to expect. No matter what happens, though, it should be an entertaining fight.
In the co-main event, UFC legend Frank Mir will make his second Bellator fight after losing to Fedor Emelianenko in the first round of the Heavyweight Grand Prix back in April. He’ll take on Javy Ayala, who won his first three Bellator fights but has since lost four of six, including most recently back-to-back defeats against Roy Nelson and Cheick Kongo.
“I’ve been a big fan of his since I started my MMA career,” Ayala said. “People used to ask me ‘Oh who’s your favorite fighter?’ and I would tell ‘em ‘Frank Mir.’ So whenever I got the call with this opportunity to get in the cage with him I was stoked about it. I was like ‘Yeah, for sure, I can’t wait!’”

New York Knicks’ Allonzo Trier Has ‘Chip On His Shoulder’ Says Team Captain

New York Knicks rookie, Allonzo Trier got an early Christmas gift!
He signed a two year, $7 million deal with the orange and blue.
An undrafted rookie out of the University of Arizona, this summer, Trier signed a two-way contract with both the New York Knicks and the Knicks’ NBA G League G-League affiliate, Westchester Knicks.
Trier made himself at home, too!
In his NBA debut against the Atlanta Hawks, Trier notched 15 points on 5 of 9 shooting and hauled in 4 rebounds and 2 blocks, off the bench in the Knicks’ 126–107 win.

In November, Trier went for the gusto against the New Orleans Pelicans when he posted a career-high 25 points in the Knicks 113-109 win over the Pels.
So guess what? The Knicks had to rip up Trier’s old contract because NBA rules mandate that once you spend up to 45 days with an NBA team before a roster spot and a new contract must be created.

New York Knicks' Allonzo Trier has been "constant force for us," Knicks co-captain Lance Thomas told me.
Thomas says that Trier has been: "playing with a chip on his shoulder ever since he had an opportunity." #Knicks
— Brandon Robinson (@ScoopB) December 14, 2018

“‘Zo has been constant force for us,” Knicks co-captain, Lance Thomas told me.
“You know, playing with a chip on his shoulder ever since he had an opportunity.”
Trier and fellow rookie, Knicks rookie, Kevin Knox are finding a groove.

“If they keep that up, those boys are going to be good,” Lance Thomas told me.
Knicks guard, Damyean Dotson agrees:  “I don’t know what went on in the draft,” he told me on Monday.
“Whoever didn’t draft him is crazy, but I think we got a steal.”

Allonzo Trier also has the distinction of proving many people wrong. According to his Knicks teammate, @wholeteamDot, whoever didn’t draft him is crazy" – #Knickstape
— Brandon Robinson (@ScoopB) December 14, 2018

Dotson knows a thing or two about the G-League. He played for the Westchester Knicks last season where he averaged 18 points and 6 rebounds in 13 starts. Also last season, Dotson became the eleventh player in hoops history to play in a G League and NBA in the same day.

— Allonzo Trier (@ISO_ZO) December 12, 2018

Now in his second season in the NBA, Dotson is digging Triier’s progression in the young NBA season.  “He just plays hard and competes,” he said.
“That’s what makes him stand out.”

Pastor John Gray Used Bible Verses to Explain Why He Bought His Wife a $200,000 Lamborghini

Pastor John Gray is an associate pastor at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. He and his wife have their own show on the Oprah Winfrey network, and Gray has just signed his second book deal.
In other words, Gray is not a poor man. That’s what the 45 year old pastor tried to explain during a Facebook live post he made, after he got lambasted for buying his wife a Lamborghini. You can watch Gray’s Facebook Live post here.
Gray’s critics were worried about the “optics” of the gift, with many suggesting that it would look bad to have a Christian leader shelling out hundreds of thousands of dollars on a luxury car. But Gray shrugged off their criticism, saying that he didn’t use a penny of church funds on the Lamborghini. (“May God take my life on this feed if I did,” he added.) He also said that he didn’t buy the gift as a pastor — he bought it “as a man,” looking to make his wife happy.
“I’m 45. I’m supposed to wait ‘til I’m 70 to live my best life? My best life is seeing my wife happy. It’s not like I’m sitting up trying to do something for me. I want my wife to be happy and every man should be able to do whatever is in his ability to do,” he said.

Pastor Gray Cited the Book of Ephesians to Explain Why He Had to Make His Wife Happy
During a long Facebook Live post, Gray quoted Bible verses from the Book of Ephesians to explain why he spent $200,000 on a Lamborghini for his wife, Aventer. The couple celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary on December 11. You can watch Gray’s talk, explaining his purchase, right here.
Gray talked about the importance of a “good marriage,” explaining that he had never seen a succesful marriage when he was a boy growing up. And he said that, since he had never seen a happy marriage, he used to worry that he’d never be able to be a good husband. He mentioned men in his family who had abandoned their wives and family, leaving the women alone to raise their children. “I grew up with those stories,” he said. “I grew up seeing physical abuse, seeing domestic violence.” Gray talked about seeing men in his family abusing drugs and threatening their families with wives. “I swore to God I’d never perpetuate that,” he said. “I swore I’d be more.”
Gray turned to the importance of being a good husband, taking a verse from Ephesians. He said, “Here’s the truth, husbands love your wives like Christ loves the Church. Even giving himself a ransom. That means give everything. Sow everything. Give the best of everything. And that’s where I’m at,” Gray said.

Poll: Should The Bulls Be Looking To Trade Jabari Parker?

The Chicago Bulls are reportedly “engaged in talks” with multiple teams on a potential trade that would ship Jabari Parker out of town before he’s even completed a half of a season with the team he signed a two-year $40 million deal with in the offseason.

Bulls have engaged in talks with several teams regarding Jabari Parker, per sources. There’s considerable interest in Parker the player. Finding right fit financially is next.
— K.C. Johnson (@KCJHoop) December 14, 2018

Welcome to the NBA, folks.

Take Our Poll
(function(d,c,j){if(!d.getElementById(j)){var pd=d.createElement(c),s;;pd.src=’’;s=d.getElementsByTagName(c)[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(pd,s);} else if(typeof jQuery !==’undefined’)jQuery(d.body).trigger(‘pd-script-load’);}(document,’script’,’pd-polldaddy-loader’));

The Bulls’ season has been ravaged by injuries, bad culture and is now in a state of shock based on the drastic switch in leadership styles from the fired Fred Hoiberg to the newly hired Jim Boylen. In addition to long practices and some public beratement, Boylen has made some changes to the team’s rotation. The biggest is the benching of Parker. In Thursday night’s loss to the Orlando Magic in Mexico City, Parker played just four minutes.
He was reportedly told earlier in the week that his role would be greatly reduced, and that his defensive effort was a primary concern. This appears to fit the narrative Parker clumsily created for himself when he was being introduced as a new signing during the offseason.
Parker said, “they don’t pay players to play defense.” That might have come out the wrong way, but it stuck and clearly, the Bulls’ new coach felt as though Parker’s effort matched that statement. Parker just signed a two-year, $40 million deal in the offseason.
The second year of that deal is on a team option, but it’s still going to be difficult for the Bulls to find a trade partner for Parker with him being owed the remainder of his $20 million salary for the 2018-19 season still owed.
Presumably, the Bulls would be interested in acquiring a draft asset in return for Parker, but they may have to take back a comparable amount of salary that is guaranteed through next year if that is they are going to get that in return.
Despite the benching, it’s likely Parker, who is just 23 years old, still has a good reputation in the league. He’s seemingly being as positive as possible through this tough situation, but what do you think?

Jabari Parker said he's not looking at his reduced rotation role as permanent. Said he was told at shootaround and given "no reason, just (Boylen's) wishes." A team source said Boylen told Parker his defensive effort must improve.
— K.C. Johnson (@KCJHoop) December 14, 2018

Parker: "Everybody is telling me the truth—to stay ready. They’re not telling me things I want to hear. They’re not pointing fingers. And personally, I know I’ve done my job to embrace Jim as the head coach. I’ve been nothing but welcoming of him. I'll continue that."
— K.C. Johnson (@KCJHoop) December 14, 2018

Parker: "It is a surprise because I did everything I could in the time I was given. But it is what it is. You can’t pout. You just gotta keep moving."
— K.C. Johnson (@KCJHoop) December 14, 2018

Should the Bulls be shopping Parker?

MLB Rumors: Ian Kinsler, Padres Agree To Two-Year Contract

Ian Kinsler is on his way back to Southern California.
The free agent second baseman and the San Diego Padres agreed to a two-year contract worth $8 million, FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal reported Friday, citing sources.
Kinsler is coming off a solid season in which he hit .240 with 14 home runs and 48 RBIs while splitting time with the Los Angeles Angels and Boston Red Sox. Kinsler also won his second career Gold Glove for his stellar defense at second base.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display( “gpt-ad-desktop-out-of-page” ); });

The Red Sox acquired Kinsler from the Angels on July 30 for a pair of minor leaguers. He battled a hamstring injury, appearing in just 37 regular-season games for Boston down the stretch. Kinsler did go 4-for-13 with a pair of RBIs in the American League Division Series. He played solid defense on the Red Sox’s World Series run but did commit a costly error in Boston’s Game 3 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The 36-year-old is only two years removed from a 22-home run campaign with the Detroit Tigers and figures to provide some veteran stability to a young Padres team with hopes of continuing its upward trend.
